ARK, Inc. (American Recyclers of Kentucky)

From the humble beginnings as the “Facilities” Section of Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. ("TAI"), we planted our own roots May 3, 1993 when we spun off and became a Kentucky corporation.  We are a wholly owned subsidiary of TAI *See footnote below for more information about TAI.

Our commitment to our customers and to our community is to educate those around us about the value of recycling and the value of protecting our environment through innovative and ecological waste management.

We are a service company with our main focus and expertise on the handling and marketing of resource and waste products.

TAI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, which was founded as a trading and supply-chain specialist of the Toyota Group.  TAI has been operating in North America since 1960.  It has evolved from a trader in a limited number of commodities and finished goods to a multi-business enterprise.
